Clarivate Analytics Includes Nicholas Peppas on Highly Cited Researchers List
Nicholas Peppas, a professor of biomedical engineering and the director of the Institute for Biomaterials, Drug Delivery and Regenerative Medicine, has been included in Clarivate Analytics’ 2017 Highly Cited Researchers List.
Highly cited papers are defined as those that rank in the top 1% by citations for field and publication year in the Web of Science.
Clarivate Analytics is an independent company, formerly the intellectual property and science business of Thomson Reuters, that focuses on scientific and academic research analytics. Their 2017 list names the world’s most impactful scientific researchers based on citation analysis, identifying the most frequently cited researchers as determined by the extent to which their papers have supported, influenced, inspired and challenged other researchers around the globe.
Professor Peppas was recognized in the list for his research contributions in pharmacology and toxicology.
