Keyue (Kevin) Ma and Chad Williams, two BME graduate students and researchers in Professor Jenny Jiang’s System Immunology Lab, have received awards from the American Association of Immunologists (AAI).
The awards covered their travel and registration expenses for the recent annual AAI meeting in Austin, “Immunology 2018.”
Ma received the 2018 AAI Trainee Poster Award based on his research abstract titled “Single Cell RNA Sequencing of Lung Adenocarcinoma Reveals Heterogeneity of Immune Response-related Genes.” He presented his research poster at the meeting.
Williams received the 2018 AAI Trainee Abstract Award based on his research abstract titled “Profiling TCR affinity distribution in human CD8+ T cell subsets responding to a cytomegalovirus epitope.” He was selected for an oral podium presentation of his research at the meeting in addition to a poster presentation.
