Peppas Selected for 2010 Acta Biomaterialia Gold Medal

The criteria indicate “… the awardee should be an undisputed world leader in the field of biomaterials, whose accomplishments in discovery and translation to practice are surpassing and known to all in the field”. The award consist of a gold medal, plaque and a cash honorarium.
This award will be presented at the 2010 Biomedical Engineering Society’s Annual Meeting in Austin, in October 2010.
