Celebrating 25 Years of UT Biomedical Engineering

BME 25th Anniversary collage cover

For the past twenty-five years, the Department of Biomedical Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin has brought together extraordinary students, faculty, alumni and partners to advance human health through the integration of science, engineering and medicine.

Founded on a mission to develop clinically translatable solutions that improve lives, the department has cultivated a community of biomedical engineers, innovators and leaders who are transforming health care in Texas and beyond. As we mark this milestone, we honor the people who have built a world-class community defined by discovery, innovation and impact.
