 ABSTRACT:

In the first half of my talk, I will describe our attempts to map development in the C. elegans embryo, with emphasis on the optical and computational methods we've invented that have proven valuable in this quest. In the second half, I'll describe ongoing technological advances in my group, emphasizing deep learning methods for image restoration.
