PRESENTER INFORMATION

ABSTRACT:

The health humanities offer a multidisciplinary, human-centered lens on medicine and health, seeking to understand health systems in a broad cultural, social,  historical, and ethical context. This presentation will discuss how integrating the health humanities into the biomedical curriculum can lead to better trained and more satisfied  clinicians, improved patterns of communication, more effective technologies, and better outcomes.
