Suhyun Park, a Ph.D. Candidate supervised by Dr. Stanislav Emelianov, was recently informed that she has been selected as the recipient of the Wendell Gordon Fellowship for 2007. The Wendell Gordon Fellowship is for nine months, and includes a stipend of $19,000 . In addition to the monthly stipend beginning September 1, 2007, the Office of the Graduate Studies will pay up to $3,011 for the fall and up to $3,011 for the spring semesters of tuition and required fees during this fellowship period. There is also an allowance that may be used to defray the costs of medical insurance. Lastly the fellowship provides that for courses taken during summer 2008 the recipient may pay only resident tuition.
