Join Marisela Tamez Myers and Emil Kresl to discuss the value and meaning of leadership. The objective of this seminar is to outline the fundamentals of leadership, delve into leadership in academia, and discuss how participants might develop leadership skills. Leadership takes countless forms. In academia alone, leadership takes place in many ways other than executive administration. Knowing what your options are and to what degree you might play a leadership role, are critical considerations as you look ahead and plan for your future. Regardless of how intent on your professional path, knowing the fundamentals of leadership will help set you up for success.
