Professor Christine Schmidt has been appointed to the journal Acta Biomaterialia’s Editorial Board. This is Dr. Schmidt’s third appointment to the an editorial board of a biomaterials journal, with the other two being the Journal of Biomedical Materials Research and the Journal of Biomaterials Science, Polymer Edition. The addition of Dr. Schmidt’s appointment to the editorial board of Acta Biomaterialia speaks highly of her leading research in the field of biomaterials science and engineering.
