Dr. Stanislav Emelianov has been elected to the Administrative Committee of the IEEE Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics and Frequency Control Society. The ultrasound section of this international society—dedicated to advancing technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity—focuses on the theory, technology, materials, and applications related to medical ultrasound, including imaging, tissue characterization, bioeffects, and therapy.
Dr. Emelianov’s term serving on the Administrative Committee will run from 2011 through 2014.
