Biomedical engineering graduate students Seungsoo Kim and Bo Wang each received William S. Livingston Outstanding Graduate Student Academic Employee Awards.
Kim and Wang were honored with cash prizes of $2,000, commemorative clocks, and plaques at the annual Graduate School/University Co-op Awards Banquet on May 19, 2010.
Each year, the Graduate Student Assembly gives just three awards to outstanding graduate student academic employees. Kim and Wang both work under the guidance of Dr. Stanislav Emelianov in his Ultrasound Imaging and Therapeutics Research Laboratory. Dr. Emelianov sponsored both Kim’s and Wang’s nominations.
