Michelle Kim is the recipient of a BMES Undergraduate Research Award for 2006.

Michelle Kim is the recipient of a BMES Undergraduate Research Award for 2006. She received the award with 3 other undergraduates at the BMES Conference in Chicago on October 12, 2006. The award consists of four parts:  

1. A certificate which reads:  "For Outstanding achievement by an undergraduate student in a research and design project: Myung Hee Kim The University of Texas at Austin
                                         Is awarded this certificate of recognition for studies on Sequestration of Basic Fibroblast Growth Factor within Spatially-Patterned,
                                         Microfabricated Scaffolds for Applications in Stem Cell and Tissue Engineering"  

2. A stipend of $400
  

3. Registration for the BMES Annual Fall Meeting, and
  

4. Travel expenses up to $400
