Stephanie Seidlits, who received her Ph.D. in biomedical engineering with Dr. Christine Schmidt in May 2010, is the recipient of the highly competitive Baxter Early Career Development Award in Bioengineering.

Stephanie Seidlits, who received her Ph.D. in biomedical engineering with Dr. Christine Schmidt in May 2010, is the recipient of the highly competitive Baxter Early Career Development Award in Bioengineering.

The award will support Seidits research as a postdoctoral associate at the Institute for BioNanotechnology in Medicine at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. She will begin her postdoctoral studies this fall with Dr. Lonnie Shea.
