The Tissue Engineering SIG is in charge of all programmatic and other activities in the area of utilization of biomaterials as scaffolds for tissue engineering processes. The Drug Delivery SIG is in charge of programmatic and scientific activities in the areas of drug and protein delivery and the use of biomaterials as carriers in such applications. The Cell and Organ Therapy SIG promotes research on biological substitutes that enhance, maintain, or restore the functions of tissues and organs.
