Professor John Zhang has been appointed an Assistant Editor of the journal Biomedical Microdevices. The journal is a Springer publication with a high impact factor that publishes leading articles in the field of medical nanotechnology.
“John is one of the most innovative young leaders in the field of nanotechnology,” said Professor Nicholas Peppas, Chair of the Biomedical Engineering Department. “His appointment in this position indicates once more the high scientific respect his research and leadership enjoy.”
Biomedical Microdevices covers research in the diagnostic and therapeutic applications of micro-electro-mechanical systems, microfabrication, and nanotechnology including design, characterization, testing, modeling and clinical validation of microfabricated systems, and their integration on-chip and in larger functional units.
